i stood on the roof of the new “38 Commerce” last week, basking in the night breeze, enjoying conversation with lovely friends, pretending to live a big city life for the night.  of course i was drawn to the shadows below.  no matter where i go, it’s what i see.

i’ve had the privilege of meeting a certain gentleman on the border of indiana and michigan over the past month or so.  thankfully we aren’t limited to truck stops at our border visits.  it was even “opening day” on sunday, which translates to “free day” at pokagon state park.  perfect!
