I’ve been photographing families for more than a decade and love it even more now that I have a family of my own. I live with my husband, son, and our chickens in Indianapolis, Indiana. We love anything food or outdoors-related and take every opportunity we can to go camping, visit our farmer-friends at the market, and make yummy meals together. (Photo credit: Caitlin Blaisdell)

ABOUT KJP

The cuddles with your toddler, the kisses you share with your partner, and the walks you take each day with your dog… they may feel mundane, but these are the bits of time that make up our lives. They are moments that I cherish and that I want to help you to look back on with fondness.

Family sessions with KJP are active and energetic. Take a deep breath, be present, and have fun together! Let your kids be kids and roll with whatever happens. I work to photograph the normal, genuine interactions you have with each other, not the staged portraits in which we self-consciously place ourselves. We’ll play games, get silly, and laugh a lot.
